I have a question that is not answered in the FAQ

Please send us your question via the contact form. But please check first if your question is not already answered in our FAQ.

I have lost something!

During and after HARDFEST we will collect all found objects from the security desk at the main entrance. Everything that is not collected on the day will be handed over to the municipality. Approximately two days after the event they will place all found objects on the website “Verloren of Gevonden“. You can also report your loss there: see their FAQ for more information.

General information

When is HARDFEST?

HARDFEST will take place on Saturday 23 April 2022.

When does HARDFEST start and when does it end?

HARDFEST opens its doors at 12:00 and closes at the stroke of midnight.

What is the access policy in relation to corona?

At this moment, there are NO corona measures in place for HARDFEST. That means: no vaccine, no recovery certificate, no test to enter the festival.

This may change, so please check this information again just before the event. Our aim is to organise HARDFEST in its familiar form; accessible to everyone. However, this is not entirely up to us. The government decides, so also the conditions on which a festival can take place. As an organization we have to abide by this.

(Update: April 4, 2022)

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age for HARDFEST is 18 years.

However, those born in 2004 will be admitted even if they turn 18 after the festival. Therefore, everyone who turns 18 in the year 2022 will have access to the festival. Anyone born in 2005 or later will not be allowed to attend HARDFEST! Not even when accompanied by a parent, guardian and/or other adult or whatever… haha 😉

Are you prepared for bad weather?

Yes, we are! Two of our stages are sheltered and our terrain is largely paved. So it will be pleasant to dance around in one of our tents!

Are cigarettes available?

Unfortunately, no cigarettes are available on the festival grounds! It is not allowed to smoke in festival tents and other enclosed festival areas (including smoking an e-smoker). We can be fined for this by the NVWA. In case of repeated violation, you can be denied further access to the event.

What can I eat and drink?

We pay great attention to the food and drink at our festival. Varied and fresh. You can choose from different drinks, mixed drinks, snacks, meals and fruit. It is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks onto the festival grounds.

When will the timetable be announced?

The timetable will be announced on our news site approximately one week before HARDFEST.

Are there any lockers available?

At the entrance you will find lockers where you can easily and safely store your belongings. The size of a locker is 30cm wide, 40cm deep and 24cm high. They are for sale on location and cost € 10. You can pay cash or with PIN.

Help! My mobile phone is empty... What can I do?

No worries, powerbank to the rescue. Powerbanks are available at our merchandise stand and at Freshpoint.
Please note that you cannot pay with tokens here (but you can pay with cash or PIN).

What if I use medication and/or have an allergy?

Medicines, food and liquids that are necessary in connection with an allergy or illness may be taken in with a medicine passport. A medicine passport is available from any pharmacy. Please take into account that the application time is about three weeks.

I recently gave birth and am looking for some privacy during HARDFEST!

Every year we are delighted with the number of young mothers who do not want to miss our festival! If you need a moment to yourself, just go to our first aid post (EHBO). You do not need to report this in advance.

Hotel + Camping

Where can I spend the night?

The U Parkhotel is located on the campus of the University of Twente and is within walking distance of the entrance. However, this is not (yet) arranged by us and you will have to book it yourself.

There are various other possibilities in and around Enschede for spending the night. On this page you can find other hotels and appartments.

You can do it by public transport, organised bus trips, by bike, by car or by taxi! Read all about transport + the route on our transport page.

Regulations

What are the house rules?

It is important to read the house rules before entering the site, because then you know exactly what you can expect from yourself and your fellow visitors. You will find the house rules just before the entrance. Take your time, we have kept it as short as possible!

What can I and can I not take onto the festival terrain?

Anything that can harm you or others, weapons, drugs, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and personal drink/food are NOT allowed. In front of the entrance there is a complete list of everything that is forbidden. Fortunately, there are still many more things that are allowed!

Can I bring liquids onto the festival site?

Due to safety reasons, it is unfortunately NOT allowed to bring any liquids onto the festival grounds, such as your own drinks, hairspray & deodorant (deodorant rollers are also prohibited).

There are plenty of possibilities to freshen up on the festival grounds.

Can I leave the festival and come back later?

No, this is not allowed. And you wouldn’t want that either with a line up like that. 😉

Tickets & Tokens

Will tickets still be sold at the door?

No, our ticket sales are only conducted online via our website. HARDFEST sold out. We advise you to try to buy your tickets only through our waiting list. That way you can be sure you have a valid ticket.
Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for ticket updates.

Until when can I personalise my tickets or change the name on a ticket?

Personalisation of tickets or name changes are possible until during the event.

How do I personalise my ticket?

You must personalise your purchased tickets in order to receive them. How does personalisation work? We explain it to you step by step:

  • After your order you will receive a confirmation email from Paylogic. Go from the confirmation email to the page of your order (this can be done via the orange button at the bottom of the email).
  • Choose “Personalize”.
  • Now you have 2 options:
  • Choose “Claim” to put 1 ticket on your own name.
  • Choose “Send” to put a ticket in the name of a friend.
  • Follow the instructions.

NB: Lost the confirmation e-mail or the e-mail with your tickets? Request it again via this Paylogic site!

I bought a ticket but did not receive it or I cannot find it anywhere anymore. What do I do now?

Use this page to have your ticket resent to you.
Can’t work it out? No problem! Visit the Help Center of Paylogic Customer Service.

Can I still sell/change my (personalised) ticket?

Do you suddenly want to take someone else with you, did you not fill in the correct information or do you want to sell your ticket? No problem at all. There are two options:

Option 1: Sell your tickets via our Waiting list.
Option 2: Change the name on a ticket.
Go from the confirmation email to the page of your order (this can be done via the orange button at the bottom of the email). Here you can change your ticket details quickly and easily.

  • Choose “Name Change” (2x)
  • Select the ticket where you want to make a name change
  • Follow further instructions

Please note that there is a charge of €3 per ticket for changing. Changing the name of your ticket(s) is possible until during the event.
Option 3: Sell your tickets via Ticketswap.
It works with SecureSwap, which means sold tickets are exchanged for a new ticket that is immediately registered in the name of the new owner. The old ticket, which is still in the possession of the seller, is therefore automatically invalid. This makes it 100% safe to sell and buy your tickets through this platform.

The e-mail address associated with my order is not (or no longer) correct. What do I do now?

We cannot change this for you, but Paylogic can do this for you. On this page you will find the necessary information.

Is it safe for me to buy or sell a ticket on Ticketswap?

Yes, you can, but now you can also buy/sell your tickets via our Waiting list.

Still want to buy/sell via Ticketswap? With SecureSwap, sold tickets are exchanged for a new ticket in the name of the new owner. The old ticket, which is still in the possession of the seller, is therefore automatically invalid. This makes it also 100% safe to sell and buy your tickets through this platform.

Do I have to print the ticket(s) in A4 format and in colour?

That is not necessary, but if you print, do so on A4 size, otherwise the barcode is too small to scan. But we prefer you to scan your ticket from your phone (saves paper!). Please note that the internet connection is not always very stable. We advise you to download your ticket on your phone and make a screenshot before you go to HARDFEST, so you always have your digital ticket at hand. Also make sure that the brightness of your screen is on maximum.

Can tickets also be scanned from a mobile phone?

Certainly! Please note that the internet connection is not always very stable. We therefore advise you to download your ticket onto your phone in advance and to make a screenshot so that you always have your digital ticket to hand. Also make sure that the brightness of your screen is set to maximum.

How can I pay during HARDFEST?

At HARDFEST you pay with tokens. You can buy these tokens at the cash registers at the main entrance or at the back of the festival grounds. You can pay in cash or with a debit card. We have taken all possible precautions to ensure that our card systems work properly. Nevertheless, we advise you to bring some cash along, because unfortunately something can always go wrong technically. Better safe than sorry!

Is HARDFEST already sold out?

As soon as HARDFEST is sold out we will announce it in the news section and on our Facebook page.
