During and after HARDFEST we will collect all found objects from the security desk at the main entrance. Everything that is not collected on the day will be handed over to the municipality. Approximately two days after the event they will place all found objects on the website “Verloren of Gevonden“. You can also report your loss there: see their FAQ for more information.

General information
HARDFEST will take place on Saturday 22 April 2023.
HARDFEST opens its doors at 12:00 and closes at the stroke of midnight. That’s 12 hours of madness.
The minimum age for HARDFEST is 18.
Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions, even if your birthday is the day after HARDFEST. Is your birthday on the day of our festival? Then you are definitely welcome to celebrate this special day with us.
Yes, we are! Our grounds are largely paved, several stages are within tents and shelters are scattered throughout the festival site.
Unfortunately, no cigarettes are available on the festival grounds! It is not allowed to smoke in festival tents and other enclosed festival areas (including smoking an e-smoker). We can be fined for this by the NVWA. In case of repeated violation, you can be denied further access to the event.
We pay great attention to the food and drink at our festival. Varied and fresh. You can choose from different drinks, mixed drinks, snacks, meals and fruit. It is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks onto the festival grounds.
The timetable will be announced on our news site approximately one week before HARDFEST.
At the entrance you will find lockers where you can easily and safely store your belongings. The size of a locker is 30cm wide, 40cm deep and 24cm high.
Come prepared and order your E-locker in our ticket shop. They are also for sale on location and cost € 10. On location you can pay cash or with PIN.
These are lockers with a code. So keep your code safe and beware of people watching you. You can use the locker with that code throughout the day.
No worries, powerbank to the rescue. Powerbanks are available at our merchandise stand and at Freshpoint.
Please note that you cannot pay with tokens here (but you can pay with cash or PIN).
Medicines, food and liquids that are necessary in connection with an allergy or illness may be taken in with a medicine passport. A medicine passport is available from any pharmacy. Please take into account that the application time is about three weeks.
Every year we are delighted with the number of young mothers who do not want to miss our festival! If you need a moment to yourself, just go to our first aid post (EHBO). You do not need to report this in advance.

Hotel + Camping
The U Parkhotel is located on the campus of the University of Twente and is within walking distance of the entrance. However, this is not (yet) arranged by us and you will have to book it yourself.
There are various other possibilities in and around Enschede for spending the night. On this page you can find other hotels and appartments.
Parking & Transport
You can do it by public transport, organised bus trips, by bike, by car or by taxi! Read all about transport + the route on our transport page.
Press
Press requests can be made via the form on our contact page. We will then evaluate your press request.
Sure! Bringing a (digital) camera and/or video camera is allowed, with the exception of (semi-)professional equipment. Tag us in your photos or videos with @hardfest.nl or #hardfestnl.
Websites or companies who want to shoot professional footage need to request this in advance. Click here to request a (press)request through our contact form.
Regulations
It is important to read the house rules before entering the site, because then you know exactly what you can expect from yourself and your fellow visitors. You will also find the house rules just before the entrance. Take your time, we have kept it as short as possible!
Anything that can harm you or others, weapons, drugs, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and personal drink/food are NOT allowed. In front of the entrance there is a complete list of everything that is forbidden. Fortunately, there are still many more things that are allowed!
No, this is not allowed. And you wouldn’t want that either with a line up like that. 😉
Due to safety reasons, it is unfortunately NOT allowed to bring any liquids onto the festival grounds, such as your own drinks, hairspray & deodorant (deodorant rollers are also prohibited).
There are plenty of possibilities to freshen up on the festival grounds.

This didn’t do the trick for you? Unfortunately, we cannot change this for you, but Paylogic can help you with this. This page explains exactly what steps to take.
Certainly! Please note that the internet connection is not always very stable. We therefore advise you to download your ticket onto your phone in advance and to make a screenshot so that you always have your digital ticket to hand. Also make sure that the brightness of your screen is set to maximum.
That is not necessary, but if you print, do so on A4 size, otherwise the barcode is too small to scan. But we prefer you to scan your ticket from your phone (saves paper!). Please note that the internet connection is not always very stable. We advise you to download your ticket on your phone and make a screenshot before you go to HARDFEST, so you always have your digital ticket at hand. Also make sure that the brightness of your screen is on maximum.
At HARDFEST you pay with tokens. You can buy these tokens online or during the festival at the cash registers at the main entrance or at the back of the festival grounds. You can pay in cash or with a debit card. We have taken all possible precautions to ensure that our card systems work properly. Nevertheless, we advise you to bring some cash along, because unfortunately something can always go wrong technically. Better safe than sorry!
After entry, you can collect your tokens using the Tokens ticket on your mobile phone (or using your printed ticket) at the presale counters.
No, our ticket sales are only conducted online via our website. Keep an eye on our website or sign up for our Facebook event or our Instagram for all updates.
