I have lost something!

During and after HARDFEST we will collect all found objects from the security desk at the main entrance. Everything that is not collected on the day will be handed over to the municipality. Approximately two days after the event they will place all found objects on the website “Verloren of Gevonden“. You can also report your loss there: see their FAQ for more information.

Forgot something in your locker?
If you left something in your locker, you can contact Eventsafe using this form. They have collected all items left in the lockers.

Do you experience health issues after our event?

Do you have a complaint?

We strive to provide everyone with an amazing festival experience. However, if you have a complaint, you can submit it to us via email and/or DM no later than 10 days after the event. General information

When and where is HARDFEST?

On Saturday 17 April 2027 at the University of Twente.

When does HARDFEST start and when does it end?

HARDFEST opens its doors at 12:00 and closes at 23:00. That’s 11 hours of madness.

What is the minimum age?

The minimum age for HARDFEST is 18.

Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions, even if your birthday is the day after HARDFEST. Is your birthday on the day of our festival? Then you are definitely welcome to celebrate this special day with us.

Are cigarettes available?

There are no cigarettes available on the festival grounds. It is also not allowed to smoke in festival tents and other enclosed areas. In case violation, you can be denied further access to the event.

Are you prepared for bad weather?

Yes, we are! Our grounds are largely paved, several stages are within tents and shelters are scattered throughout the festival site.

What can I eat and drink?

We pay great attention to the food and drink at our festival. Varied and fresh. You can choose from different drinks, mixed drinks, snacks, meals and fruit. It is not allowed to bring your own food or drinks onto the festival grounds.

Are there any lockers available?

At the entrance, you’ll find lockers where you can safely and easily store your belongings! The size of a locker is 30 cm wide, 40 cm deep, and 24 cm high. A locker costs €10.75.

On the day of the festival at 09:00, you’ll receive an email with your locker number and code. Make sure to check your spam folder too! Keep your code safe and watch out for people looking over your shoulder! You can use the locker all day with that code.

What if I use medication and/or have an allergy?

You’re allowed to bring medication, but only up to a one-day supply. A “one-day supply” means the maximum amount you’re allowed to use in a single day. If your medication is taken by security during the check, you’ll get a flyer with information on how to get it back afterward.

Additionally, all food trucks clearly indicate which dishes they serve and what they contain. If a dish is gluten- or lactose-free, contains nuts, or is vegetarian/vegan, this will be listed next to the dish.

We do our best every year, but unfortunately only a limited amount of gluten-free food is available on-site. We understand that you may not want to take any risks with cross-contamination or that the options might be too limited. Feel free to email us at info@hardfest.nl to discuss the possibilities!

Hotel + Camping

Where can I spend the night?

The U Parkhotel is located on the campus of the University of Twente and is within walking distance of the entrance. However, this is not (yet) arranged by us and you will have to book it yourself.

There are various other possibilities in and around Enschede for spending the night. On this page you can find other hotels and appartments.

Parking & Transport

How do I get to HARDFEST?

You can get there by public transport, bike, car, or taxi! Check out all information about transport & routes on our transport page.

Press

Can I take pictures?

Sure! You’re welcome to bring your phone and take pictures. However, (semi-)professional equipment is not allowed without permission. Want to make professional recordings? Please request this in advance via our contact form. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos or videos @hardfest.nl!

I am a photographer/journalist, how can I get a press card?

Regulations

What are the house rules?

It is important to read the house rules before entering the site, because then you know exactly what you can expect from yourself and your fellow visitors. You will also find the house rules just before the entrance. Take your time, we have kept it as short as possible!

What can I and can I not take onto the festival terrain?

Anything that can harm you or others, weapons, drugs, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and personal drink/food are NOT allowed. In front of the entrance there is a complete list of everything that is forbidden. Fortunately, there are still many more things that are allowed!

Can I leave the festival and come back later?

No, this is not allowed. And you wouldn’t want that either with a line up like that. 😉

Can I bring liquids onto the festival site?

Due to safety reasons, it is unfortunately NOT allowed to bring any liquids onto the festival grounds, such as your own drinks, hairspray & deodorant (deodorant rollers are also prohibited).

There are plenty of possibilities to freshen up on the festival grounds.

Are there dress codes?

In principle it cannot be crazy enough for us, the only thing we do not want is offensive, racist, condemning clothing / statements. It is also not allowed to come in clothing that makes you recognizable as a group. HARDFEST is a low-threshold event where everyone must be able to feel at ease!

Note: Football shirts are therefore not allowed.
